Technical Survey for Lead Development Technician

Thank you for your interest in the Lead Development Technician role for Hybron technologies.

For next steps, there are three components to our screening process: a technical survey, a phone call with John, and then a meeting with the founders.

For the technical survey portion, you will self-assess your skills and experience. Note that there are no "wrong answers" on this survey, so please feel free to be 100% truthful. This is just an opportunity for you to understand what types of technical experience the company is looking for.

For each of the below questions, answer on a scale from 1 to 5, with 1 being "No relevant experience of understanding", and 5 being "Extensive experience and understanding".

Experience working with fiber-reinforced polymer composites in manufacturing or R&D.

Experience operating presses, ovens, waterjet cutters, 3D printers, and fabrication tools.

Experience with running and programming CNC mills.

Experience conducting mechanical, non-destructive, and destructive testing.

Experience troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.

Experience coordinating shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

Demonstrates ability to take ownership and problem-solve independently.

Thrives in a fast-paced environment and quickly learns new skills.

Ability to work effectively with colleagues and contribute to a small team.

Experience optimizing manufacturing processes or reducing costs.

Experience with Onshape CAD tools.
